WAIVER REQUIREMENT: Non-member competitors wishing to participate in any Club matches will need to have a Waiver Agreement completed and signed prior to live fire. JRGC members have already completed this requirement for competition. Waiver Agreements will be available on day of competition or can be downloaded for viewing and completion prior to the match.

Sunday Afternoon Trap Shooting: Trap shooting is open for both club members and non-members every 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, from March thru December at 12:30pm (provided the weather cooperates (not raining) and the temperature is above 50 degrees). There is NO Sunday Trap Shooting during January and February.
Tuesday Evening Trap Shooting is open to the public every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month (starting first Tuesday in April) until Fall Trap League in September. Start time is approximately 6:30pm.
Cost is $5.00 per round for club members and $7.00 per round for non-members. You are responsible to provide your own firearm and ammunition.

The Jasper Rifle and Gun Club will also host an annual trapshooting league beginning the first Tuesday in September for 8 weeks. Please reach out to The Club for more info or to sign up.

Tactical, or also known as High Power Rifle, shoots on the 4th Sunday of the month from April through October on the 100-yard range. Matches start at 9 am Eastern, but please allow additional time to sign up.
Participants are required to bring their own firearms, ammunition, and safety equipment.

Rimfire Rifle matches will be on the 2nd Sunday of each month from March through October. Matches will begin at 9:00am Eastern on the 50 yard range.

Rifle Match
- Schedule: Black Powder Rifle Matches are held the 3rd Sunday of each month, all year long.
- Time (EST): Matches start at approximately 8am and end at approximately 12 noon.
- Cost: $5.50, Multiple winners receive meat or money prizes depending on the number of contestants. A winner-take-all side pot can be entered for $1.00.
- Firearms and loads must meet the following guidelines:
- The rifle must be loaded from the muzzle.
- Only black powder or black powder substitute (such as Pyrodex) may be used.
- Only cloth patched round balls may be used (no mini-ball or sabot loads).
- Only open sights may be used (no scopes, red-dot or other modern technology sights).
- Any type of primer system may be used, as well as flint-locks.
- Course of Fire: Shooters may choose to fire their muzzle loader rifle in one of two ways. Shooters who wish shoot from a bench using a front rest or bag will shoot target placed at the 50 yard range. Shooters who wish to shoot free-hand in the standing position will shoot target placed at 25 yard range. In either case, all shooters are part of the same Black Powder Rifle Match, and winners are selected without consideration of which shooting method was selected by the shooter.
- Target: Target “X” is cut-marked on a wooden or Formica solid target with lines crossing at 90 degrees. Up to 10 rounds may be shot at the “X”, with winners selected with ball closest to the center of the “X”.
- All contestants are expected to participate in making smoke, telling tall tales, and having fun.

- The black powder shotgun must be loaded from the muzzle.
- Only black powder or black powder substitute (such as Pyrodex) may be used.
- All gauges of muzzle loader shotgun are permitted.
- Any open sight may be used (no scopes, red-dot, or other modern technology sights).
- Any type of primer system may be used, as well as flint-locks.
Winners do not receive prizes (besides bragging rights), as only minimum Trap fees are charged.
