The JRGC Endowment has been created with the Dubois County Community Foundation

July 17, 2015

It’s with great enthusiasm that we announce the establishment of the Jasper Rifle and Gun Club Endowment. In partnership with the Dubois County Community Foundation, an endowment has been created for our Club’s benefit to support our mission and provide a meaningful, tax-deductible way for our members and the community to give.

We need your help and hope you will join us in this effort. Please consider inviting your employers, family and friends to join you in your support to help grow our endowment by making a tax-deductible contribution. The Executive Committee has approved matching every donation, dollar for dollar, up to a total maximum amount of $5,000!

Tax-deductible contributions may be made to “Dubois Co. Community Foundation”. In the memo field, be sure to write “JRGC Endowment” and mail to Dubois Co. Community Foundation, P.O. Box 269, Jasper, IN 47547-0269. Or you can make a direct contribution by going to the Foundation’s website here.

For more information call Nicole Kreilein at the Dubois County Community Foundation, (812) 482-5295.
Thank you for helping protect Jasper Rifle and Gun Club’s future by providing assets for both today and tomorrow!

Why an endowment?                                                                                                                                       An endowment is a permanent, self-sustaining source of funding. The assets are invested, and, each year, a portion of the fund is paid out to support the fund’s purpose. Any earnings in excess of the distribution are used to grow the endowment.

What is the purpose of the Jasper Rifle and Gun Club Endowment?
The purpose of the fund shall be to provide support to the Jasper Rifle and Gun Club mission and activities that provide a meaningful and charitable benefit to the community; including but not limited to the management of Club grounds for community benefit, charitable gifts to youth and civic groups, educating members of the safe handling and proper care of firearms as well as improved marksmanship skills, and to forward the development of the characteristics of honesty, integrity, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play, and self-reliance, which are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.
